about selfcare

I know this is not a regular beauty related post, but I decided it was the right time to take a moment and elaborate a little on a topic that is very important and close to my heart: Selfcare. Not just for the body, but also for the mind and soul.
I came to realize that a lot of us tend to focus predominantly on the physical side for selfcare in order to keep our engine running. Yes, we do love a good face mask, a nice bubbly bath, a healthy meal or a good workout, but our mind and soul need time to heal and recharge as well.
I’m going to include some ideas for mind and soul selfcare that I recently incorporated in my routine in case anyone is interested in adding some😊
• For mind selfcare:
– read a personal development book
– listen to a podcast filled with positivity
– creative activities (painting, drawing, coloring etc)
– learn a new skill
• For soul selfcare:
– write a gratitude list
– allow your emotions to run free
– help someone in need
– take pictures of small moments
